Hello, I’m Makenna the Dog Mom! I’m a professional, insured, and background-checked animal caretaker, pet sitter, dog walker, and more in the Cleveland, Ohio area.

ABOUT:

-Now completing Bachelor of Social Work with goal to train service dogs; previously studied biology and pre-veterinary medicine in university

-Worked and interned in multiple animal care fields including veterinary clinics (assistant), wildlife rehabilitation clinics, animal shelters, training & doggy daycares (with up to 35 dogs, solo!)

-Pet parent of many species (dogs, cats, reptiles, rodents, fish) since I was 4 years old and have been animal sitting (including farm animals) since I was 12

-Dog walker, pet sitter, animal caregiver, and pet photographer on the Wag! app (a background-check verified platform)

-Currently I’m working towards acquiring my CPDT (certified professional dog trainer) license and am starting to accept select training clients.
